Since 2017 there have been four International Early Engines Conferences with most of the presentations being published or forthcoming viz:-

IEEC1 - Elsecar Heritage Centre, Elsecar, (May 2017):

Presentations appeared in the Journal of the Newcomen Society available via https://www.newcomen.com/publications/journal-archive

IEEC2 - Black Country Living History Museum, Dudley (Oct. 2021):

The International Stationary Steam Engine Society (ISSES) facilitated two volumes available here.

IEEC3 - Summerlee Museum of Scottish Industrial Life, Coatbridge (Mar. 2024):

Also produced with ISSES, vol.1 is available and vol.2 is due early 2027.

IEEC4 - Kingswood Heritage Museum, Bristol) (Mar. 2026):

Volumes forthcoming, late 2027 or 2028.

IEEC5- Is expected take place in Dartmouth in 2029 marking the tercentenary of Newcomen’s death.
